Scholarships
Scholarships are part of the Student Exchange Office's exchange programmes. In addition, students can apply for further scholarships.
Application required
The foundation supports many students who take part in an exchange
programme at a Swiss university or carry out a Master's project
(self-organized) outside Europe with contributions towards travel and
accommodation costs. The most important condition is that the students
cannot readily cover these costs from their own funds. Good academic
performance is normally guaranteed by ETH's own requirements for an
exchange.
Applications are assessed individually and favourably.
Application deadline for exchange with focus on courses
- 20 April, 24.00 CET of each year for Autumn Semester
- 20 October, 24.00 CET of each year for Spring Semester
Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) with a disability
You can apply to Movetia through ETH for additional financial means
to cover part of any additional costs incurred during your stay. Contact
the Student Exchange Office at least four months before the start of
your stay if you wish to submit a corresponding application
University of Copenhagen: Scholarship for Master's students
The Novo Nordisk International Talent Programme awards scholarships. (ETH is a member of the IARU.)
Search independently for additional scholarships. It is possible, for
example, that your partner university offers scholarships that are
unknown to the Student Exchange Office and are, therefore, not listed on
any ETH page.
The following page may be helpful for you, even if it is intended for students who are not on an exchange programme.
