Conditions of the degree programmes
The departments set degree programme specific conditions and decide which semesters can be spent at a partner university.
You are expected to plan your exchange so that most of the credits earned abroad count towards your ETH degree.
Before applying, you must obtain approval from your departmental exchange coordinators. They determine whether your academic attainments abroad will be transferred.
The role of the departmental exchange coordinators is academic. For example, they answer questions about crediting, but not questions about Mobility Online or administrative questions about the exchange itself. The latter are answered by the Student Exchange Office.
