In order to ensure consistent communication, the sub-project provides information on key changes and supports degree programmes in sharing this information. The main priority is consistent communication and creating trust.
Part of this is a general communication concept and the preparation of templates that can also be used for programme-specific content.
The communication concept for prospective and current students can be found on the external page Sharepoint.

The Onboarding Week is an introductory week that will take place in calendar week 37 from autumn semester 2027 and marks the official start of studies for all new Bachelor's and Master's students. It aims to ease the transition into university life by providing important administrative information, networking opportunities and, above all, orientation. The onboarding week will contain central elements that are the same for all students, as well as programme-specific elements. A main focus will be on networking, team playing and getting to know the ETH culture.
Together with a task force, the sub-project is developing the concept for coordinating and implementing the onboarding week for new Bachelor's and Master's students.
The detailed concept phase for the new Onboarding Week will begin in June 2025 with a task force that will meet for a second workshop in October.
From 2026, the onboarding event for new Master's students (Check-in ETH) will take place in person, thus planning will begin now.
The position of ‘Project Manager:in Onboarding Week’ has been filled and their onboarding will begin in mid-July.
A kick-off regarding ETH culture and general topics as well as a kick-off with the VSETH and student associations will also be arranged.
