Humanitarian Action Challenges: 6th call for proposals
Attention researchers: The sixth call for proposals within the scope of the “Humanitarian Action Challenges” is open. The initiative works with humanitarian organisations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, to advance joint research aimed at addressing humanitarian challenges.
The Humanitarian Action Challenges (HAC) grant is offered by the Engineering for Humanitarian Action (EHA) initiative to support project-based research for a greater impact of humanitarian action. Researchers from ETH and EPFL can apply together with a partner from a external page humanitarian organisation.
Collaboration with additional partners from the ETH domain and/or from low- and lower-middle-income countries is encouraged.
Project of 6 to 24 months can secure CHF 50,000 up to CHF 300,000 in funding. A minimum of 25 % as matching funds is required. Applications can be submitted from until Thursday, 05 March 2026. Further information
