Office of the President
The Office of the President provides strategic and operational services to advance ETH Zurich and the President's vision and priorities. It is comprised of teams that are responsible for coordinating and promoting activities in the areas of Foresight and Strategic Affairs, International Affairs, Global Visibility and Alumni Engagement.
ETH Zurich is a context maker. It reflects the global, regional and national context within which it is working. The Foresight team helps to ensure that ETH Zurich continues to be relevant to Swiss society and economy in years to come, works with its intellectual community to help them create an informed vision of tomorrow, and actively curates communities to connect future thinking with contemporary action.
The International Affairs team is the central hub of expertise and the main point of contact for international matters at ETH Zurich. They support and advise the President, the school board, faculties, departments, administrative units, and students in their international collaboration initiatives and projects. They coordinate institutional international relations and provide tailored strategic and operational services to further strengthen the international positioning of ETH Zurich.
Meet ETH designs and delivers ETH Zurich’s corporate public events and outreach activities, developing attractive formats that spark knowledge exchange, networking, and dialogue with society.
The ETH Alumni Engagement team is mandated with the conceptualisation, implementation and further development of the alumni work of ETH Zurich. It does so in consultation and close exchange with the Executive Board of the ETH Alumni Association, who is responsible for setting its strategy. The goal of Alumni Engagement is to establish and develop an attractive offer for ETH alumni, bring them closer to ETH, and activate a vibrant, global community.
