Teaching spaces for project-based education at ETH Zentrum
From Server Room to Project-Based Learning Space - As part of the Rector's strategic initiative to promote project-based education at ETH Zurich, PBLabs transformed a former server room into an inspiring and versatile teaching space. The redesign prioritizes flexibility, enabling a wide range of settings to accommodate project-based and other group-based courses. The first lecturers began using PBLabs RZ D8 for their courses at the start of the spring semester 2024.
Room details
PBLabs RZ D8 offers flexible solutions for a variety of settings (such as group work, break-out rooms, lectures, and prototyping) that are commonly used in PBE formats.
- Up to 84 seats in 12 team spaces
- Up to 120 seats in a plenary setting
- Curtains to divide the space
- Whiteboards and flipcharts
- Flexible lounge area
- Storage area on request
